Snowshoeing and Husky
The aim of this exciting three-hour snowshoe trek is to have a close-up experience of the silent Arctic nature.
Trek along the Alta River
This snowshoe trek will take us through the Alta Valley along the banks of the Alta River. We will see how the landscape was formed by the ice that covered the entire region 10,000 years ago. Your guide will tell you about Alta generally and the Alta River particularly.
We will be joined by one of our huskies – Javri, Phelps, Atlas or Bruno – to help pull or carry the gear.
We take a nice break during the snowshoeing trek to make an open fire. We brew tea, coffee or hot chocolate and serve some snacks.
Snowshoeing is a fun and easy activity and is a great way to explore the snow-covered Arctic landscape. No previous experience is necessary.
Join us for a silent snowshoe trek in the Arctic nature!
