The Active Winter Weekend is a three-day/two-night compact weekend package combining some of the best experiences Alta has to offer.

When it comes to experiencing the genuine Arctic wilderness, few places in Norway can match the Anarjohka National Park. Endless mountain plateau, wooded valleys and the occasional reindeer trail. Maybe we will meet a Sami reindeer herder on a snowmobile. Join us on a 10-day ski expedition in the wilderness! Next departure is March 19-30, 2026

Crossing the Finnmarksvidda mountain plateau by fatbike is springtime’s most beautiful adventure. Join us for five days of fatbike fun – snow, sun, reindeer, mountain lodges and baggage transport by huskies pulling sleds.

This is the classic four-day ski expedition across the Finnmarksvidda mountain plateau from Alta to Karasjok. This trip with us includes three overnight stays in mountain lodges, huskies to pull the gear, all meals and possibilities for a hot sauna each evening. This trip is a “must” for all mountain skiing enthusiasts.

If your stomach trembles at the thought of pulling your own pulk and gear through the wilderness – where you can experience snow, the Northern Lights and grouse cackling in the undergrowth – you should join us to the Pasvik Valley, a ski expedition on the very edge of Norway, near and along the Finnish and Russian borders.
