There are many excellent options for day trips in beautiful winter sorroundings near Alta. We can get above the tree line and get a taste of the Finnmarksvidda mountain plateau or ski through the pine forest. The decision is based on the weather, snow conditions and the guests’ wishes.
On our day tour (4.5 hours) we will choose terrain, routes and challenges to suit your level.
During the trip, we will serve lunch around an open fire and brew tea and coffee.
The tour price includes transfers, ski gear (skis, boots and poles), extra clothes (if needed), lunch and hot drinks.
We often take a husky on these trips, sometimes just for company and other times to pull a pulk/sled with the equipment.

What to wear
We recommend wearing ski pants and jacket, or similar, hat and mittens. If the temperature is low, add woollen long johns and top.
If you have a down jacket, bring it to wear during the break.
We recommend wearing two pairs of woollen socks (preferably one thin and one thick pair)
What to bring
Bring a backpack to carry your camera and extra gear.
If you lack some of this, we can assist with a down jacket, hat, mittens and backpack.
