We rent out Ally foldable canoes, which have been made famous by Lars Monsen’s adventures, or solid polyethylene canoes from Mad River and Apache that can withstand a real knock!
Paddling a canoe down the Alta River, in the fjord or in one of the lakes around Alta offers a wonderful opportunity to have an exciting nature-based adventure that is silent and has no impact on the nature!
If you are a novice or want to get even more out of your experience, we recommend booking one of our guided canoeing trips.
The canoes are 16.5 feet long and have buoyancy for three people plus luggage.

Price
Bergans Ally canoe: NOK 750 per day (foldable, 16 kg) or NOK 4,125 per week
Deposit: NOK 2,000 (refunded if there is no damages or missing items at the end of the rental period)
Polyethylene canoe: NOK 600 per day (standard plastic canoe, 38 kg) or NOK 1,650 for three days
The price includes two oars and two life jackets per canoe.
If you want to rent several canoes/kayaks and thus have a transport challenge, we suggest that you also rent our canoe trailer with space for up to eight units – NOK 1,000.
Rented products be returned no later than 09.00 AM the next day.
