This package includes our popular evening tours Hunting the Northern Lights and Aurora & fatbike. The daytime activities are dog sledding with Trasti&Trine and the nights in our stylish Aurora Canvas Dome or GLØD Boutique Apartment in the small pine forest right beside Glød HQ.

The activities

This package is a super compact edition of Alta’s top winter experiences. For the activities provided by our partners, you will be picked up at Glød HQ, given the necessary instruction, clothing and safety equipment and dropped back after a wonderful adventure.

This package is also suitable for children from age 9-10. (We have small fatbikes).

Transfers

The package includes all transfers between activities and also private airport pickup and return transfer.

Accommodation

You spend the nights in our stylish Aurora Canvas Dome, which is situated in a small pine forest on the fringes of the “England forest” behind Glød HQ. We and our architect believe this takes glamping to a whole new level! The dome features a large and extremely comfortable Wonderland bed, nice down duvets, a wood-burning stove, underfloor heating, electricity and Wi-Fi. The wall facing northwards and much of the roof are transparent, which enables you to experience the Northern Lights, weather, wind, small birds and squirrels from the warm and cosy atmosphere. Each dome has its own toilet and wash-hand basin.

Alternatively, you can stay in our modern and stylish GLØD Boutique Apartment, which is also an excellent option for families.

Dog sledding at Trasti&Trine

We provide brief and precise instructions about how to drive a dog sled before we enter the dog enclosure, where many happy Alaskan huskies are waiting to meet you

Snowshoeing, Ice fishing, Husky & Lunch

Welcome to a four and a half hour trip to GLØD’s wilderness camp just outside Alta combining snowshoeing and ice fishing. A hot lunch is also included. We will be joined by a husky to help us pull the gear.
